NAMI of Washington County

NAMI of Washington County (Oregon) is a non-profit and volunteer-based service organization.

The mission of NAMI of Washington County is to be a grassroots, family and consumer/peer organization which provides self-help, support, education, and advocacy for improving the lives of people who are directly or indirectly impacted by mental illness.

Building & Yard Work Day

Having a building allows us to offer a wide variety of programs and events. Having a building also means that periodic maintenance and clean-up is needed. Please join us for our annual building and yard clean-up. Potluck Barbecue at 12pm. We will have a monthly building and clean-up day on the 3rd Saturday of the month in July and August. Brown Bag & a Movie
will be changing days to the third Thursday of the month from noon to 2pm. Please join group facilitator Jonathan Craig for a entertaining afternoon. For more information please call the NAMI Center at (503) 356-6835.

We'd like to take a moment and make a special thanks for the following volunteers.

Rochelle Caffee and her team of volunteers at the Cedar Mill, Beaverton, Tigard and Sherwood Farmers Markets over the summer.

John Ellis for his dedication to NAMI and coming in every Monday and Friday for building maintenance and watering our gardens.

Ginger Oeser for her individualized instruction for students in Beginner and Intermediate Guitar at the NAMI Center every Friday from 12-2pm. Ginger is also involved with NAMI-WC Familty-to-Family Classes.

Art Class selling cards $1 per hand made card. All proceeds go toward the NAMI Art Class.

Anyone is welcomed to come read books at the center. Members may check out books for one month.
