Beyond Mental Health

Washington County Department of Health

Washington County Department of Health will be holding a Focus Group to look at what our loved ones need beyond mental health supports. The County is seeking family members of individuals with mental illness to join this group.

Garden Project

Garden Tender is every Thursday

Tuesday, August 12 & 26, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM With a steering committee comprised of consumers and NAMI volunteers, the garden project has taken on a life of its own. Daily, volunteers show up to do the water. The Steering Committee, chaired by Tome Green, Jr., meets twice a month to keep an eye on what needs to be done.

Thursdays are the "work day" when everyone pitches in to do the weeding and planting new donations.

Family Support Group
For families with members having major mental illness
First Wednesday of each month 6:45 - 8:15 pm SMART Recovery
Open to any person.
Advance registration is not necessary.
Every Thursday 6:30pm - 8:00 pm

Dual Anon
Support group for family members who have a relative or loved one with a dual diagnosis.
Every Friday 6:00pm - 7:00 pm
